Ground the leather a half inch up the heel and it would not smooth out, and also ground the side of the toe area where no repair was needed. It also could not be repaired, and she insisted it was like that when I brought them in. NOT SO. I had to throw them away, and she would not return my money, that she had demanded in advance. On reattaching a sole on a Bass Loafer, she got glue all up the side of the loafer, said she did not do it, and when I took it back and showed her, she quickly got some type of pumice stone and cleaned most of it off. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANYTHING TO THAT PLACE AGAIN. Besides she is rude and hostile when confronted.
