“The reason why I chose John Harvey driving school was through a recommendation from a friend who had recently passed with the driving school. As I was new to the area I was keen to get a recommendation off someone who had only good things to say about the driving school.
I had originally had lessons previously eight years ago so I was a little bit rusty to say the least on my first lesson. But everything was explained clearly and in small steps at first, slowly building up lesson by lesson as my confidence grew. When I found out I would be moving out of the Country in a few weeks time, I had to up my lessons as I really wanted to pass my practical test before leaving.
My driving instructor John was more than accommodating with fitting in extra lessons to bring all my driving skills up to a high standard. Doing two hour lessons was definitely more beneficial for me as was suggested by the driving school on their website.
I would definitely recommend the John Harvey driving school to a friend as learning to drive was an enjoyable experience and I even had the confidence to do a motorway drive on the day I passed. I was very pleased with passing first time, thank you John Harvey driving school. I chose John Harvey Driving School because they came highly recommended. I liked the idea of driving a French convertible, but also because I wanted to learn with an independent driving school. I saw the vehicle on the road decided to look it up. He addressed all the issues that my previous driving school failed to address, and has always been able to break down his teaching method into small and clear steps, which made a steady and fast progression possible. “I was cautious about which driving instructor to use, so getting some feedback from other people was very useful. I could see that John Harvey Driving School had put effort into the website and the pictures and customer reviews were a great help in choosing JHDS. I had already learnt with a different instructor.
