About us
The idea to create this shop dawned on me shortly after I got engaged to my partner. As I'm the type to jump into projects, I could not stop pinning idea after idea on Pinterest in hopes of having our perfect DIY wedding. Whether it be starting projects on our dining room table, turned office space, turned workstation, or going to Home Depot and scanning the aisles for materials for a yet-to-be-determined home decor addition, I've always found real fulfillment in coming up with new ideas and seeing the finished product.
As a lover of wine, the connection between this, my passion for DIY projects, and our upcoming nuptials turned into the project of hand making 80 Chalkboard Wine Glasses (and then subsequently chalkboards when I became really ambitious) for our wedding. We decided to make these as favors at our wedding. After about 4 attempts at different ways to do it (FYI dipping the glasses does not work well!) I finally found a process that looked sharp, clean, and something that our guests would actually use again!
After wowing our friends, I thought I could put my sink-or-swim attitude to good use! Creating this shop, and especially hearing the stories or reasons why people buy my items, have become the highlight of the entire process.
