  Mom Question: Does anyone recommend or not recommend a company for cleaning air ducts. I always see so many coupons for them but want a legit company. I just bought a house and the air ducts are disgusting and need to get them clean. I used a company in September but they seemed just okay and a little bit scammy my $39 coupon for duct cleaning ended up costing me $200 (first they said $400!!) Anyways any recommendations or companies to avoid would be great:)

  Loved duct doctors. Very expensive ($400+). We had an immuno-compromised child (cancer) and couldn't mess around with those "deals". Coincidentally, my son who suffers from allergies and eczema stopped suffering completely within a week of having the duct work cleaned. At the very least, read about the equipment they use and look into companies that use the same type.   yes after watching the dateline episode I think I will be calling duct doctor or at least someone that is a part of the air duct association. I am severely allergic to mold so I need to get it done right.@kate duggan I sent you a PM.
