About us
Photographer. Passionate. Professional. I pulse creativity, from how I construct my life, share my thoughts, and the poetic manner in which I remember each and every moment that I live. I choose to express my mind, heart, and soul through the eye of a lens and the snap of a shutter.
However, before I picked up photography, writing was my outlet. Over the years, I lost my passion for the pen, be it that I grew out of my teenage angst or I had simply emptied that version of myself onto a page. I grew frustrated with the criticism I was receiving about the darkness in my writing. So I asked my parents for my first digital camera, and so marked the true beginning of my journey as a visual artist. The word photography itself has Greek roots, quite literally meaning “writing with light” – an appropriate transition into my expressionism.
Walt Disney once said "of all our inventions for mass communication, pictures still speak the most universally understood language". The world of photography sparked a desire to pursue a career in the field. The transition from pen writing to light writing was complete in 2012, when I earned a certificate in commercial photography. I have since been working alongside industry professionals here in Montreal, as well as working with my own clients and expanding my portfolio.
My interests lie mainly in portraiture (both people and pets), however I'm also a wildlife and nature aficionado. I work weddings, events, and even boudoir as I love the gathering and celebration of people. From witnessing the love between partners, celebrating the big day, a newborns cry, another year gone by that you’re alive; I am blessed to be passionate about the job you have given me. I capture and create lasting memories, and am honored to be a part of your special moments.
