HouseHoppers was founded in 2005 and has grown in leaps and bounds. With our unique concept in domestic relocation we have revolutionized all ideas of a house move. As an owner operated small business, based in the Roodeport area, we are able to provide our clients with an individually customized service to assist with all aspects of a house move, specializing specifically in packing moving and unpacking a home and municipal accounts.
We have been compared to other companies around the world, over 5 continents and 20 different counties and it has been expressed that no other concept or service compares.
Our company is divided into 2 main divisions, a home relocation or moving service and a service that assists with the most stressful and daunting part of any purchase or sale of a property- The City of Johannesburg – utility accounts. At this stage our services are limited to the City of Johannesburg only.
Our rapidly expanding utility accounts division is becoming very popular with frustrated City of Johannesburg, Johannesburg Water, City Power and Eskom clients who are unable to resolve long outstanding issues on their rates and taxes, water and electricity bills, or clients who would just prefer to avoid the stress altogether.
Our specialized coordinators have been trained to expedite everyday transaction with the City of Johannesburg from opening new accounts, closing accounts and obtaining refunds to the much more intricate queries involving readings, meters and billing issues.

HouseHoppers have perfected the unique concept of a comprehensive move where a home is pack moved and unpacked in a single day. Contents are packed into cupboards, beds are made, curtains are hung, simple DSTV set up’s are connected and corresponding utility accounts are opened and closed- all without you having to lift a single item.
Househoppers now also offers the traditional option, although certainly not a budget option, we offer clients the peace of mind of knowing that their goods will be treated with the up-most care and the move will be executed by professionals who have been extensively trained and who will use their skills and professionalism to execute even the smallest of moves with the upmost dedication.
HouseHoppers also offers a 100% breakage/ damage cover eliminating the cost of additional insurance over and above your standard household cover and the supply of packaging materials. We also offer third party valued added services including pre and post occupational cleaning and handyman services through valuable service provider networks.
Theft is a major concern for home owners and to mitigate this risk HouseHoppers conducts thorough investigations and checks on each staff member as well as random polygraphing test to ensure the honesty and integrity of each staff member brought into your home.
HouseHoppers does not believe in premium rates for month end times. All our rates remain fixed throughout the month and year, however our month end dates are booked up fast. show more
