  I'll put another vote in for Five, since vodka was a requirement. Otherwise Venus is a great spot (only beer and wine), and if sake's an option, Kiraku (Japanese tapas) is incredible. Oh, East Bay Spice Co. has vodka — but it's crazy trendy and will probably be packed to the gills on a show night.

  I'll second FIVE, and that you can get a cheese-free pizza at Build, which does have an outstanding bar menu.(My alter ego, MsBarstool, has written about both places for Berkeleyside!)
