  Dude, there is nothing worth eating in Times Square. The closest I can recommend is the Brooklyn Diner (which is NOT in Brooklyn), on 57 th, closer to Columbus Circle. It's still a bit of a tourist spot, but their cheeseburger is unbeatable. I mean, really unbeatable. http://www.brooklyndiner.com/

  Brooklyn Diner on 57 th street, Vynl diner on 9 th Ave. Neither are typical diners . Both are good for lunch and dinner.
