  I have a couple questions for any of you that have bought a truck half way across the country and used a shipping company. First How did you handle the money /title transfer for the truck? Second, any suggestions on a trucking company that runs nation wide and deals with personal vehicle transport. The truck will be shipping from North Carolina to Illinois.

  I bought my 2 door yukon in MT from a tiny ford dealer. They sent me paperwork and i sent the cashiers check back with the signed paperwork. They then sent me the title and a copy of the temp plate/reg. I called a shipping company and booked a WINDOW for them to pick it up and drop it off. You have to be kinda flexible with pick up and drop off days. i used https://www.jandstransport.com

  Google auto transport companies, they will pick up and deliver anywhere usually. Locally we have J & S. Another long standing company that used to be here locally is United Road services. http://www.jandstransport.com/
