  Fadi A. wrote: one of the last real hostels in town. you will either find large hostels in Jerusalem more like human concentration schools big numbers of people driven like cattles of lambs to breakfast or tours with no atmosphere and expensive or dirty neglected hostels that have some character and still cheaper and better than the big hostels . citadel hostel comes as the top option for travelers who like to see real Jerusalem from inside for example the building is like a church or an old museum i couldn't stop taking pictures the moment we got in the cave like reception of a hundreds of years old building ,went up 4 floors to a wonderful view to the old city and it is the cheapest option to stay in Jerusalem so no 5 star service but clean and comfortable , nice owners great staff available 24hr.
