  I have received a £100 fine through the post for exceeding the 2 hour parking limit in Peterlee Aldi car park on September 9th with photographic evidence. Anyone on here know whether this is legitimate and legal? It's just I have seen other FB posts whereby people didn't pay up and nothing appeared to have come of it. But at the same time I would rather pay up then see the debt escalate any further as there's a reduction for early payment by £60 (which seems dodgy in itself!). Any comments or advice (especially from anyone who has legal experience) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
