WedCycle is Tie The Knot Ottawa's newest sister show debuting on October 18, 2015 at the Glebe Community Centre. It's a fun new twist to planning, purchasing and preparing for your big day. This will be your one stop marketplace to buy upcycled, handmade, vintage, gently-used wedding and event decor while enjoying some delectable treats from local vendors. You will also be able to interact with some of our favorite local wedding related vendors to assist you in planning your big day.
Are you a wedding or event planner that wants to sell your overstock of decor and party supplies or simply promote your wedding related service ? Part marketplace, part wedding show, WedCycle will appeal to the DIY, Eco-chic, socially conscious and independently spirited couple. You'll definitely want to participate in this fun, new twist on your typical wedding show !
SUNDAY is the new Saturday. Please note that this show is on a Sunday. Saturdays are busy busy busy and we want our customers to come out and stay and shop and take their time to chat so we've planned for a Sunday. We anticipate a huge turnout for this event.

Does anyone know of consignment stores that take wedding dresses?Cheryl W. replied:We don't consign dresses at either WedCycle (www.wedcycle.com) or Tie The Knot - The Urban Wedding Show (www.tietheknotweddingshow.com) because they do take up a lot of space and they are very personal. The wedding consignment show above would be one option...another would be through a private sale on Kijiji or one of the many wedding buy and sell sites on FB. Personally we love the idea of upcycling your dress and giving it a new life.
