crashtestrating asked:Full length formal dresses online? I have an event coming up in a little over a month that I’m looking for a dress for. The easiest way to describe the event is like a college prom and I need a full length formal dress for this. My area doesn’t have many in-person options for finding these kinds of dresses so I will need to buy online. Does anyone know of any places where I may be able to find one with minimal length-tailoring needed? I’m 5’1 and not planning to wear too high heels because I’ll be on my feet all night. I’m on a college budget so the more affordable the better, but I know there’s only so much I can ask for. Thanks!!
PoeDancer replied:I use Rent the Runway for dresses that I only plan on wearing once- I just had a formal event that I rented a gorgeous Free People dress from for $30 bucks. They send you a free backup size and have many reviews and pictures of actual customers wearing them. They'll even list their own heights so that you can get a good idea of what it'd look like on you. May I suggest wedges?
