About us
Kodiak, a Collie Sheppard Mix, was the inspiration for the original Pets Choice. After he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Disease, his owners, Maddie & Ron, realized nutrition was the key to his well being, and even his survival. After much research and discussion, they realized that most dog foods were full of fillers, artificial flavors, and colors with sub-standard ingredients. Their goal soon became to educate other owners and share the benefits of a healthy diet for their pets. Pets Choice opened in 1991 without much fanfare and in the middle of a recession, but over time it became known as a leading source for pet nutrition and wellness.
In 2008, Maddie & Ron retired after helping thousands of animals and their owners. Joe & Teresa became the new owners of Pets Choice and set out to continue the standards first put forward by the previous owners.
Natural, wholesome foods and treats made with quality ingredients are the leading focus of our store. We can help you manage a food allergy or other condition, or just feed your four-legged companion a healthy diet for a healthy life.
