About us
We re-opened this beautiful classic village pub in November 2014, after a closure of nearly 8 years. Owned and restored by the community and operated by a management team that shares our values and vision for a pub that is the hub of our community and a hidden gem of traditional hospitality. Superb Shropshire food, real ales from Shropshire and beyond, great wines to try by the glass, wonderful freshly ground coffee and free WiFi.
Our refurbishment has also included the Oak Room, a restaurant conservatory which also acts as our village community room and function space for meetings and parties. From March 2015 guests will be able to stay in our 3 en suite bedrooms.
