We contacted one who was recommended to us by a hotel, but she wanted to charge $600 US, which is outrageous to us, not to mention difficult to afford. Also, if any of you who have been married here to a Tico, can share anything about the process, like if a marriage license needs to be obtained prior to the wedding and how long it takes to get the marriage certificate afterward, I'd appreciate it.
