THIEVES AND BUTCHERS
I would like to warn all of you who truly care about well-being of your pets to avoid this butcher shop of a hospital. I came there hoping that I would find professional help and compassion for my poor cat who suffered a severe case of poisoning (I will never know the true cause since doctors never explained the reason of sudden collapse), instead I met with a total indolence and impertinence of veterinarian who even accused me indirectly of maltreatment.
Instead of immediately testing her blood for toxins and performing gastric irrigation, they hooked her up to IV and put her in oxigen chamber for night. I came back home waiting for a phone call about status of my poor kitty. Nobody called. I called them in the evening only to learn that they didn't have an update on her status. Hopelessly, I have been waiting for next notification. Again, nobody called. Next day early in the morning I phoned "the clinic" only to learn that my cat passed away. No emergency procedure was carried out, no test made, but butchers didn't have a slight problem with charging me $400.
Anyone know of any vet open today? Calling Cabo Rojo vet emergency. No answer. Thanks.

There's one in Hatillo!! 7878795251 It's an actual vet (like from the states) ~ so it's expensive but worth it if you love your babies like I love mine.
