  Does the Light House Mission accept food donations such as ham sandwiches? Where can my daughter do 4 hours of community service on Monday? She is currently in military school and leaves Tuesday. Any suggestions are appreciated.

  Hi, I work st the Mission. Your daughter could just come hang out with people at the drop-in center/volunteer on Holly (just a block up from the Mission.). Talk to people-play cards, etc. she could even volunteer at our espresso bar there. Meals are provided there- so no food necessary. (You could always donate a ham to the kitchen in the main building at 910 F st, if you wanted to, though.). To volunteer, go through the website www.thelighthousemission.org
