About us

Thomas Tree Farm is set on a beautiful 50-acre property just south of Ottawa, 2 miles west of North Gower. On arrival you are free to wander through our maple bush, ride the tractor-drawn hay wagon or take the horse-drawn sleigh to choose the perfect tree.

Once you return with the tree we will be pleased to serve you hot chocolate and homemade cookies while you warm up by the fire at the sugar house.

We love to go to Thomas Tree Farm http://www.thomastreefarm.ca/ and cut our own tree. They have tractor rides out to the field, saws to borrow once you are out in the field, and hot chocolate and cookies after you are done. They also have a play structure for the kids. For the next two weekends they will also have horse-drawn sleigh rides (hay rides if there is no snow). A bit pricy (we paid 53$ for our tree this year), but we love the whole tradition of it, so we just consider it a fair price for an afternoon's entertainment.
