About us
Emmaus Leeds is a charitable business which helps homeless people (Companions) to help themselves by providing a home and work in a supportive environment. Companions live ‘above the shop’ which supports the running costs of the Community and provides an opportunity for Companions to develop skills and self-respect through working and contributing.
From our central Leeds location, we run a quality second-hand furniture store (with free collection and low-cost delivery to all LS post codes. We also have a café, hire out meeting/leisure room and IT suite (providing informal and accredited training and suite hire) and offer supervised car parking. If you are interested in making a donation (either financial or physical items) or becoming a volunteer, then please feel free to contact us through the contact details provided.

Norwood foodbank at St Luke's does give out some clothing to foodbank clients, but storage space is limited, as we mainly deal with food for people in crisis. Please contact, phone/email-details on website (norwood brixton foodbank) The robes (homeless project) is a winter night shelter at the church, ie; somewhere to eat and sleep one night a week on a rota with other churches.
