Imagine it’s three in the morning and both your children are awake. Nightmares have robbed them of their sleep and now they can’t seem to settle down. This is what happened to me one late, wintery night.
Due to a number of things going on in our lives, my son age 8 and daughter age 6 awoke one evening and could not get back to sleep. No matter what I tried they were up and afraid. I quickly scanned their rooms to find a way to help soothe them back to sleep when I spotted some stones that I had been showing them earlier in the week.
I had been teaching them about geology and different rock formations and happened to have a handful of stones, some Amethyst, Quartz, Opalite, and a few others. I held up one of the stones, a “moonstone” purchased at the museum, and told a tale of the magical properties this moonstone held, specifically its ability to remove bad dreams and leave good dreams in its place. Holding it up to a flashlight I charged up the good energy and held it to their foreheads taking away those nasty dreams and putting in new ones.
It worked.
Both kids fell back asleep and slept the whole night through. When the kids sleep well, you sleep well.
The next night while getting them ready for bed, they asked to have the “light rocks” again. I repeated the process and sure enough, both fell asleep quickly. This continued on for a couple of days when I decided that I could make a base with some lights in it to give them a nightlight they could fall asleep with. A quick trip to the craft store later, and the Dreamweaver was born.
I posted my craftiness on Facebook and before long people were asking where they could get one. One thing led to another and here we are today.

I then began looking at other types of stones and gems that I had in my rock collection to see what other night lights I could create. Currently I am using Amethyst, Citrine, Moonstone, Opalite, Rose Quartz, Quartz Points and Selenite Mini-Mountains with... show more plans to expand into other stones and gems.
Each one of these are assembled by hand and made for you.
My Dreamweaver’s sell mostly for $20, the Selenite Min-Mountain for $35, and I can ship via courier of your choice for that plus the cost of shipping and handling.
Higher quality gems and stones may also be requested and I will discuss with you price points for those as the cost of the gem or stone will change the overall price. I mostly make the bases for the Dreamweaver’s in black, but practically any colour is available and they are made with either a color-changing or candle flicker effect LED light. I have gone with LED’s to reduce any fire hazards, and the batteries are easily obtainable and changeable.
