  Please keep my sister in your prayers. She is an RN who works at the Acadia General Hospital. She had surgery to remove her parathyroid glands several months ago. Recovery has not gone well and she has been in and out of the hospital constantly. The issue is that she needs to be seen by an Endocrinologist, specifically one who will take BCBS for LA Office of Group Benefits. She had an appt scheduled soon after the surgery but was in the hospital and had to miss the appt. Unfortunately, they rescheduled her for March 15th which is way too long for her to wait. If you can pull some strings and know a kind-hearted endocrinologist, please help! I explain in more detail in my comments below.
