  Restaurant recommendations? My parents have just moved to Guelph and I’m in town right now visiting them! I was wondering if any of y’all have any restaurant recommendations as so far the places we’ve gone to have been only just been “alright” also specifically does anyone know of a good Chinese takeaway? Edit: thank you all for your responses, I didn’t expect this many! I’ve made a list for my parents to check them all out!

  You won't go wrong with [Buon Gusto](http://www.buongusto.ca/) or [Manhattans](http://manhattans.ca/). The latter, however, usually comes with jazz, so if you're looking for just time together to talk and catch up, it may not be the best choice. But, great food and usually great music.
