  Hi all. Once again looking for a caregiver for my dad. Please read carefully, as I have had 2 caregivers bail on me last minute and we really need help, and this week if possible. Here is what we need, and a little about my dad: He is 93 Has early stage dementia Can be very grumpy French, but speaks English Hard of hearing Did I mention grumpy? Stubborn as well! Some days he may only get up at 2. And that's ok, he's 93! He forgets to bath or brush his teeth, we need someone to remind him, and to make sure he changes his clothes! He lives at the Manoir Kirkland. Makes his own breakfast, and his bed. We want someone to talk to him, listen to him,or just sit with him. Someone to make sure he drinks water, goes outside from time to time to get some fresh air. We need someone with thick thin, did I mention he can be grumpy? Also, need someone to clean his bathroom floors daily, quick mop, his aim isn't what it used to be. His doctor is in his building and sometimes we need someone to make sure he is at his appointment on time, and have his hair cut downstairs. Someone to make sure he had milk, bread, water, chips, coffee, coffee filters, cookies, toilet paper, Kleenex and paper towels, and very important to him, Port! If he is running low, to let me know! We need someone 2 hours a day, mid afternoon, Monday to Friday and the odd weekend. As well, we need to get weekly reports on how he is doing, good bad and ugly. This can be more than one person, just need to be sure we have someone every day, and commitment to those 2 hours every day. If this sounds like a job for you, please let me know ASAP!
