  i need to find a good psych in RI, one that takes UnitedHealthcare, preferably in cranston or close by. looking into Doric Center (part of CCAP) in Cranston right now but it's always so hard to find a great psych so im happy to follow any leads, especially if you actually have seen that person and think they're awesome. i need a psychiatrist for sure for meds but i'll take good psychologist recommendations too. i would especially be interested in anyone knowledgeable with trans issues and/or bipolar but that's not totally necessary as long as they're nice and open-minded.

  I had good experiences with Rhode Island Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - http://www.ricbt.com/ I was uninsured, so I don't know what insurance they take, but I got to see one of their therapists-in-training for about $40 a session.
