I've been told many times that I should start a business selling what I have fun making. For me, woodworking is about turning an idea or sketch into a functional piece of furniture, wall decor or even a paddle board or kayak!.
I think people are genuinely surprised that for a few dollars more than a piece of particleboard furniture from a box store, they can get a customized piece of furniture that is certainly more robust and will last a lifetime.
