I need a good endocrinologist in Asheville or surrounds (even Greenville or Charlotte) that won't just say "lose weight", ideally someone who's really, really thorough on the HPTA and men's hormone side as opposed to being super dismissive.   Need assistance... I need to get the pre-kindergarten medical screen done for my son. I have gotten run around after run around trying to find a inexpensive place to get this done because simply stated, we have no insurance yet. Health Department said they no longer do them. Was sent to some Christian ministry and Minnie (something or other) both of which informed me they also don't do it. Was then sent to sisters of mercy and fast-med who also told me they don't do it. I simply need someone to check out my son and fill out the paper that I'm told, by the school, healthcare facilities already have. Any suggestions? I have a few months before our insurance kicks in and we make too much for state assistance medical and I'm new to the area. Surely somewhere does this exam... for a reasonable fee that I can pay cash for.
