  I know this doesn't exactly fit the groups description but I don't know of a better place to ask a large number of caring pet owners. I'm looking for recommendations for a vet in the Cape Coral area. Would like a veterinarian that actually cares about the animals and does a great job. We saw 2 different doctors at the last place we took our cats and both seemed to just give a bare-bones, rushed examination and didn't offer any constructive help for an older cat of ours that we are sure is having some kind of health problem. Please only recommend places you have actually taken your pet to. Thanks in advance.

  Dr. Scott once gave me heart worm meds for $1 because it was all I had left once I paid for vaccines and flea meds. He's a great guy. I use the vet On Santa Barbara because she's a Lab Lover and I have a big lab.
