About us
GUBIC began as an attempt in 2010 to get an unsigned band into the charts. When that failed I needed to find a new reason to carry on. That has begun to emerge into a new blog which focusses on independent artists, and trying to help them co-operate with each other and hopefully make a living.
One of the bands in the original competition was Deferred Sucess and their song was called "Make A Living" this became something of a theme song for the competition and has become a kind of mantra for me to this day.
