  Indie Sweets Anyone have any small or independent bakeries, chocolatiers or other sweet makers to rave about? What kind of sweet treats do you guys indulge in? (preferrably ones that sell / ship online so I can try them but it's cool if you have a tiny local place you want to talk about too!) I have a massive sweet tooth and I just realized that A) I can order desserts online and B) that I want to switch to more unique or more high quality sweet snacks. Grocery store chocolate just tastes like wax nowadays. EDIT: Great suggestions, everyone! Can't wait to try some of these. Now if only I could find a company to ship me eggnog all year round :D

  The first one that leapt to my mind is French Broad Chocolates from Asheville, NC. I enjoyed them multiple times on a trip to the area and even brought a custom picked box home with me. Their hot chocolate is legit, their filled chocolates range from safe flavors to edgy, and even have a tasty vegan collection. Sooo recommend for a splurge!
