We are Jacqui and Jo
We live on The Wirral, our home; a beautiful peninsula full of contrasting spaces. We're great friends, loving mums, family orientated and passionate photographers too!
Together, we are Amberlight Images - there's no one else, we share the photoshoots and the editing, we don't outsource any of our photographs for retouching, so you can be confident your baby's images are safe with us.
We specialise in natural and organic newborn photography. Since childhood we have both been drawn to cameras, and the artistic capabilities of photography. Since becoming Mums ourselves we have realised how quickly our children grow and change, and how precious it is now, to look back at those tiny baby days. We would love to have the opportunity to capture memories of this incredibly special time for your family to treasure as we do.We completely understand the overwhelming loveand protectiveness you feel for your little one. And we totally get the life changing upheaval of those first few days as a new family! So we come out to you! We bring our mobile studio to your home, you don't need to tidy up for us, or even get dressed!! Available across the Wirral, and surrounding areas, including Liverpool and Chester, our studio comes complete with a large bean bag, squishy cushions, soft backdrops and layers of texture to safely achieve stunning photos of your beautiful baby.
We also offer family and maternity sessions, which generally take place on location. Being outdoors helps create a much more natural and relaxed feel for your images. The Wirral gives us amazing versatility... a woodland setting, with carpets of russet leaves...sand dunes with seagrasses...or rustic gates and seaside spaces. Combining beautiful light with the location we will produce a gorgeous natural and organic portrait of your family. A moment of love and laughter, a precious second of life preserved in a memory for you to hold in your hand as well as in your heart.
Away from our cameras, when we... show more aren't taking photos, we love wine in the sunshine, campfires on the beach, summer days spent with family and friends and endless cups of tea on a winter afternoon
