LILAC∙MUMS is Clarksville’s newest destination where creativity lives. It started as its owner Chrishawna Clark’s way of adding personalized beauty to her many homes as a military wife. She serendipitously met Bonita McWhorter, who was busily creating custom-built furniture, and they began combining their talents. Lilac Mums has traveled from Chrishawna and Bonita’s respective homes to the Franklin Street location it now enjoys. It has evolved into a rich and nourishing environment for creativity.
They continue to offer their signature and unique perspective on furniture through upholstery, refurbishing and restoring, and occasional custom-builds. These visionaries have expanded to cultivate the artistry of local artists and offer a home and outlet for their work to be enjoyed by the public, some for the first time. The artists featured at Lilac Mums are all local to the Clarksville area and offer a variety of one-of-a-kind handmade creations waiting to add beauty to all who purchase.
They are proud to be part of the downtown Clarksville community and hope you will stop in to enjoy the many the items available. Crafts, home décor, jewelry, clothing and accessories, personal care items, paintings and drawings and much more await you. They also offer DIY classes to involve the community in sharing in the artists’ passions.
