Our Services:
Mowing we know that life can be busy and cutting the lawn can become a struggle. A regularly cut lawn is essential to creating healthy grass and during the growing season it can be difficult to keep on top of it. We can offer a one-off mow and tidy as well as a regular mowing and edging service where we can come and cut your lawn on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Spring treatment a granular fertiliser with a containing nitrogen phosphate and potassium is applied for steady healthy growth, build up the root system and encourage disease resistance. This product also contains magnesium giving the grass a strong naturally healthy colour.
A slow release formula for a long lasting feed
Early summer treatment a granular fertiliser with a faster acting, higher nitrogen content to continue stimulating growth throughout the summer. This product still contains slow release nitrogen to last over 2 months.
Late summer treatment the same fertiliser is used as in early summer to continue stimulating growth and drought/disease resistance through until autumn.
Autumn treatment the same fertiliser is used as in spring time to keep the turf a lovely healthy green colour and strengthen it for the coming winter months.
�Complete Lawn Care Package combining a regular, weekly or bi-weekly, lawn cut and edging with a tailor made lawn treatment programme including fertilising, weed and feed, scarification, aeration, and over seeding.
We also offer water conserve, growth regulator and disease control treatments as add on services if and when required.
Weed and Moss Control regular mowing, selective herbicides, fertilising, and scarification all help to control weeds in your lawn. Completely ridding your lawn of these is not an overnight matter, however, Mow & Grow can advise you of the best course of action.
Scarification is a process using a machine with vertical cutting blades to remove moss and thatch from the lawn whilst slitting the ground surface allowing air and moisture to... show more penetrate. This process gives grass more breathing space to grow whilst removing unwanted weeds and moss. This is best done in spring and autumn time.
Aeration is where the lawn is spiked to relieve compaction and allow more air and moisture to reach the grass roots.
Top Dressing helps to add more organic material to the root zone and can help to even out some small hollows. Top dressing Is recommended when over seeding.
Over Seeding is where grass seed is added to an existing lawn to fill gaps after scarification or weed/moss killing. Over seeding can also be done to add more varieties of grass to your lawn.
New Lawn Turfed or Seeded If you require a new lawn or your existing lawn is beyond regular lawn treatment, we can prepare and install a new lawn from turf or seed or renovate your existing lawn. A choice of top quality seed and turf is available. show more
