  Sorry guys, another pet insurance question! I have an 8 year old German Longhaired Pointer who is insured with Animal Friends (Yes I know, the devil!). We have claimed once with them for some lump removals and they paid out promptly. Our renewal is up and the price is fine, but we are aware (thanks to you guys) that we now have to pay a high percentage "contribution" to any claims. So, I'm considering moving some savings into a designated dog account and cancelling the insurance, but hubby isn't happy with this option and wants to stick with some level of insurance. SO...are there any insurance companies that will take on an older dog and still offer good cover? We looked into Petplan but they won't insure him (not at any cover worthwhile anyway).
