  Highly recommend the family health team at Toronto western hospital. They open to new patients and then close again frequently, so just try: (416)603-5888.

  If you're willing to travel to the nearest hospital, the family health team at Toronto Western (Bathurst/Dundas) has GPs and they used to be accepting new patients last year. Not sure the case now, but worth calling them 416-603-5888. Dr. Natasha Mirchandani (pod 1) is my fave (particularly good for the ladies--look up her background) but lots of good ones there (no commercial interests and all reputable) and they have all the facilities of the hospital at their immediate disposal (xrays, blood clinic, specialists, OHIP covered physio and nutritionist, etc etc.)
