About us
For over ten years, Matt Hudson and Luc Fouquet shared a vision of a salon that not only offered the best in hair cut and color, but focused on building special relationships with their clients. We offer a menu of upscale treatments and products for hair as wall as customized services to meet our clients' unique needs. We value our multiple "Best of Annapolis" awards and successes, but mostly, we look forward to serving our friends in Annapolis for the next decade and beyond.
Our menu of services include style (haircut, extensions), color (highlights, balayage, corrective color, double process color), texture (relaxer, permanent wave), and treatments (Keratin Complex, conditioning, smoothing). We also offer complimentary services in bang trims, neck trims, styling lessons and consultations.
For existing clients, we now offer the ability to schedule your next appointment online. First-time clients may use our contact page to request a time, or call 410.263.9790 to book immediately.

Not only was the haircut botched but the stylist treated me with disdain from the moment he laid eyes on me. Here's what happened: When the stylist first greeted me he offered no smile and no niceties. Instead his sentences were clipped and blunt as if he were in a terrible mood. I showed him 2 pictures of hairstyles and tried to show him more but he cut me off abruptly saying he'd seen enough then rushed off to mix the color. All through the process of color and cut he appeared to be angry. He offered not a word of typical small talk that usually occurs during a color and cut. I could sense that something was very wrong with him but, at this point, I assumed he was just in a bad mood and it had nothing to do with me. My opinion began to change as time went on because I could see that he was friendly and smiling with other people in the salon. As I was leaving I saw him smiling and chatting with another stylist so I finally realized that his "bad mood" wasn't a bad mood at all. For some reason he apparently disliked me and chose to treat me with open disdain. As to the haircut, it is every bit as ugly as his behavior. One side is distinctly longer than the other (and, no, I didn't ask for an asymmetrical cut). Also, one side is rounded and the other is straight with ugly, choppy, unblended layers. Honestly, it looks like something I could have gotten from a novice at a beauty school. Even my husband (who is usually oblivious to these things) can see how amateurish this cut is - unless this hate-filled man did this to my hair on purpose? Which brings me to my last point: The following day I called the salon to get a redo but they informed me that the redo had to be done by the same stylist. Since I'll never let that man near me again my husband agreed to call the owner, Luc Fouchet, whom he'd recently met. He left a message for Luc saying he needed to discuss a problem. HE NEVER GOT A CALL BACK so I'm left with a terrible haircut and the memory of being treated like persona non grata by one of their stylists. Obviously I don't recommend this establishment to anyone unless you like abuse and a bad haircut.Thank you for your feedback. -
