The Crazy Daysies/Rebecca Day

About us

Rebecca Day and Jennifer Day-Thompson are indie-country singer, songwriter, performers and South Carolina natives now located in Florida. The duo is comprised of two sisters who grew up on country music by artists such as Travis Tritt, Hank Williams, and George Strait. They learned from an early age what their roots are really about.

The Crazy Daysies music is a combination of acoustic country with a swampy Carolina flare. They aren't afraid to go against the grain and sing about topics that don't fit the cookie-cutter mold of what is currently trending in Nashville. Subject matters such as fighting for what you believe in, finding one's inner-strength, the lake they grew up around, and the bars they play in night after night, fill the sound waves they create.

Rebecca released her debut EP,' Now Here,' in February 2012, and single, 'Honest,' on March 30th, 2013.

After bringing Jen on board in the Fall of 2013, The Daysies released their debut EP, 'Where The Dirt Runs out of Road,' in May of 2014. The EP is available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, their Facebook music store and more. The track, 'Until I Win,' off of, Where The Dirt Runs out of Road, is under rotation on Jango Radio.

The sisters are currently working with a well known writer on a book project which chronicles their journey with music thus far. This book is set for a late 2014 release.
