  For those interested, we have received several recommendations as a result of this post. First, DTE and Consumers both offer audits/assessments. Consumers can be reached at (866) 234-0445. DTE can be reached at (866) 796-0512. We have also received three tips for private and non-profit energy auditors. First, West Michigan Environmental Action Council offers assessments and can be reached at (616) 451-3051 x40. Second is "The General" at (616) 878-7200. Finally, we have Green Fit Homes at (616) 887-2901. We'll let you know how it goes.
