About us
Here at Pawstigious Pets we are ALL ABOUT THE ANIMALS!
We offer and pride ourselves on our positive based dog training. Positive techniques have been proven to last longer and provide happier lives for our furries. Pawstigious Pets also aids in the effort to help find NYC's homeless animals find furever loving homes!
Jen Wilkinson, owner/trainer, is not only our Certified Dog Trainer/Groomer but she is also recognized by the American Kennel Club as a trainer and evaluator. Jen is Pet Safety/First Aid and CPR trained and certified as well through the American Red Cross. She will be going for further training certifications in Sept 2017! Jen takes pride in rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need as well. She has 3 beautiful rescue dogs of her own and helps aid in finding homeless pets wonderful loving homes that they can call their own. She works with several local animal rescues across Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island.
At Pawstigious Pets, we DO NOT discriminate against ANY breed - EVERY Breed is our FAVORITE Breed! We operate by appointment only, so call or email us today!

I have worked with a number of trainers over the past couple of years that I have had my dog (puppy training as well as CC and Desensitization for reactivity). I am looking specifically for trainers (in New York City) that folks here have used and like that are versed in Constructional Aggression Treatment (CAT) and to a lesser extent, Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT). While I have read about both techniques, I feel that I really need the help of a professional to practice these with me. Last year I reached out to a trainer asking if she was versed in these. She said yes, but ended up steering me back to CC and D, which is why I am asking for recommendations based on personal experience working with a trainer on these techniques. I truly appreciate any recommendations! Thanks so much!
