  Looking for in home boarding for a senior dog, no cages! Preferably on island (we live in st-Laurent, dog not fond of long rides... Beaconsfield is a long ride!). Cookie is a Lhasa apso poodle mix. Certified Canadian Kennel Club Good Canine Citizen. Former therapy dog at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Despite his age (almost 15!), Cookie is a lively dog who enjoys walks and the company of other dogs. Due to his age, Cookie has lost his hearing and suffers from mild kidney disease. Most of all, he is a friendly snuggler who hasn't lost his touch when it comes to begging for treats! We have a wedding in Halifax the weekend of June 24. Cookie is a lovely, quiet dog who has mild kidney disease, but I would Pre-prepare all his meals (they are homemade, so they require refrigeration), so no worries. He is fully vaccinated. Actual dates away would be June 22-June 25. Prefer no young kids in household for good match. Thanks for your recommendations.
