About us

Hi there... and welcome to Geroge's Bakes. The page is named after my son, who loves to watch mummy baking (and loves the left-overs even more!) This page has been set up to showcase my hobby- Sugarcraft and cake decorating. I started off baking the odd cake for friends here and there, and as more requests came through my hobby grew. I am always learning and enjoy the process of learning a new technique as much as I do creating a new design. I have made many replica designs, when I have been asked to re-create a cake... but the real enjoyment for me is designing the cake from the start, incorporating personal touches that you just can not get from store bought cakes. I pride myself on using quality ingredients and every cake is made with care and attention. I love what I do and hope you do too.
