About us
CJST driving provides quality tuition in Thanet and Herne Bay.
I am an independent driving instructor focusing on training pupils to be safe drivers for life and that includes all aspects of driving that may not be in the test. For me personally it is NOT about passing the test as soon as possible.
I have been assessed by the DVSA to ensure my tuition meets with their requirements and achieved a Grade A standard (highest). Only around 25% of Instructors achieve this grade.
I cater for both Learners starting out and Full License Holders requiring refresher training. I offer additional training once passed - Pass Plus, Motorway & Eco driving.
I can help with theory test training, but this is better done by yourself as it can be costly for you. We will do some whilst driving but on the whole it is better in my view for me to recommend some reading, internet links, DVD's etc. and allow you to study on your own. It's free to you that way.
My fees are simple and straight forward.
Prices (subject to review)
1 hour - £30
1.5 hours - £42
2 hours - £50 (recommended)
Refer a friend - receive a free 1 hour lesson. (once your friend has started tuition).
Other than the above incentive, I do not offer cheap introductory deals. Those that do are losing money initially and will recover their losses at some stage. Mostly by giving you more lessons at full price.
There is no standard time or number of lessons it takes to be test ready. It varies considerably between pupils but the DVSA state its about 40-50 hours of professional tuition plus about 20 hours of private practice. I will not prolong the lessons in order to make more money from you. I will recommend you apply for your test when you are ready for it.
