  Since everyone has such great recommendations on services, I have a query: When we turn on the A/C, the house smells faintly like, well, sewage. I've thought about this a lot. We have a lift station in the basement that I believe to be at the root of the problem. We resealed it, but it might just be rotting. I'm not sure a plumber is right for the job, not sure a septic person is right for the job, not sure an HVAC person is right for the job. It has to be someone who dabbles in all three.
