An average week includes:- Karate, Table-tennis, Theatre Express Dancing School, Monthly Women's Institute, Parent & Toddlers Playgroup, Monthly Horticultural Society, Patchwork Group, Ballroom Dancing, Monthly Astronomy Group,Tai Chi Group, Art Class, Mosaics Class, Table-tennis Club, Steps Line-Dancing, plus community events and parties etc. at the weekends.
A new Defibrillator is now installed outside the entrance of the Community Centre to the right hand side. Instructions are inside the machine, which starts immediately when the front is opened. No specific training is needed as a voice will take you through the stages. It tells you how to put the two pads on, and how to operate it.
The machine will be an excellent addition to help anyone in need of it, and will help greatly in the vital minutes before a paramedic team arrives.
