About us
Owner Lisa Wehler has been a creator all her life. After attending Moore College of Art she had the unique opportunity to study with European designers, painters and crafts people that made traditional textiles and jewelry. After 18 years as a textile and product designer she wanted to bring her own unique view to the public by opening Silver Moon Studio Antiques. Her store reflects the classic taste and style developed while designing fabric for high end home furnishings lines and women's wear. Lisa has also had a life long obsession with antiques and has crafted her knowledge of antiques, design and craftsmanship into a unusual store. There is always has something new in the store that's affordable, chic and stylish. An ever evolving mix of antique, new and vintage for today's interiors and gardens. 18th and 19th century pieces mix with mid century modern and industrial pieces to create timeless, liveable interiors. The store is quirky but well designed and curated by a knowledgeable dealer. Also, she also has artisan made items that range from cards, candles and personal care items that make very special gifts. Her jewelry is collected from the world with an artist's eye and many pieces Lisa designs just for the store. Her line of jewelry made with antiques is crafted with a designer's eye and an antique dealer's knowledge, her rare and beautiful pieces can be found only at her store, from Venetian 18th century beads made into classic but modern jewelry pieces to 1920's deco-era brasses made into new and stunning keepsake pieces. She has now added a line of 18th century inspired clothing to her offerings, Dechire 1789 is a beautiful boutique within a boutique with truly wearable designs for today's women with all the romance of an antique piece!
