  Anyone with experience or Recommendations for lasik doctors? For entry into a certain career, I need to have 20/20 vision. I haven't done lasik yet due to costs and the fact that there are risks. However, due to this field's strict vision guidelines I have started considering lasik. Can you please share and experience you have with lasik and lasik doctors in Orange County, even if it was a friend/relative who underwent lasik. Thank you!

  I had my lasik surgery by Dr. Pham at http://www.2020 orangecounty.com/ The entire experience was great. One of the things that I really liked about the Orange County LASIK Institute is that they don't use a blade at any point during the surgery, but rather they use another laser to create the flap. The cost was closer to the $4000+ range, similar to other quotes you've gotten, but compared to some of the stories I've heard from co-workers who got discounted surgeries (via Groupon, etc.) in the
