Also looking for cardiologist, PT, podiatrist(is that who we see for orthotics), etc. What else am I forgetting?

  Dr. Michael Joseph at Center for Pediatric Pain Care in Dublin. He is My kids' pain dr, and EDS dr. He knows all about the GI, EDS, dysauto stuff, and speaks teen/kid/parent/dr language very well. Everyone is comfortable with him. We have been seeing him for years. He started the pain clinic at nationwide, later set up his own practice. http://www.pediatricpaincare.com/

  Katie, Dr. Penhous in Mansfield is good. He is MD, but also uses natural supplementations too. If you need pain management for your children- Dr. Michael Joseph of www.pediatricpaincare.com does an excellent job w/ EDS, POTS, etc.. he is justnot for adults! :(

  Hi everyone, it has been a while since my last post hope all are doing well. I had made an appointment with a pain management doctor for my daughter who has EDS and we were finally happy to know we would be seeing one this Thursday...however they called and said they needed to cancel her appointment because realized she is 10 years old and they only care for 16 or older children. At this point I became frustrated and found after searching all the Cleveland area there is NO pain management doctor available to care for my daughter who is 10 years old. Does anyone know of pain management doctor in Akron/Cleveland area who they can recommend or give us any other suggestions??? I would really appreciate it!

  I'm at my wit's end. My daughter (17 this June) is undiagnosed EDS hypermobility. She is having a lot of issues with pain & weakness that is affecting everything. She feels sick all the time and rarely has a good day. Her latest thing is her lower back--major pain. I want to get her to a chiropractor, but ours is out of commission at the moment. We're in Maine & money is tight, so finding EDS educated doctors is not exactly easy. I want to call a good chiro in my area and tell them to research EDS before she comes in. I just don't know what to do anymore, and I feel like I'm failing her :(

  Yes, look at ednf dr site. Stacey Hatte, cincy childrens has EDS drs. Also we have an excellent pain dr very familiar w/ EDS that I take Rachael to- www.pediatricpaincare.com Dr. Michael Joseph. He is awesome.
