Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
My name is Debra Lawrence, I have been a licensed Realtor since 1988. My background is in customer service having worked in Retail as a Manager and 17 years for a major Airline. I know the importance of customer service. There is nothing more frustrating for a consumer than to try to reach someone that is assisting them with something as important as buying or selling a home and then to have that call not returned for hours. This will not happen with me!! I enjoy people and loved looking at homes so becoming a Realtor was a natural for me!
Describe a typical work day for you?
There is no typical work day in Real Estate. My day is a mixture of computer work, calling clients, meeting with clients, showing homes, networking and doing research for clients.
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
I get super excited when I find the right home for a Buyer client or the right buyer for a Seller client. It's all about my clients!!

What has been your most memorable experience on the job?
One year on Christmas Eve, I went to a home that I sold to a young couple and they asked me to hang stocking on the fireplace mantle and I also hung a huge red bow on the SOLD sign for them. That day I met them with their young children to surprise them with their new home!! It was a wonderful experience!!!
