About us
My name is Dr. Ben Shahar and I am a psychologist working in Tel Aviv, offering psychotherapy/counseling services in English (and Hebrew). I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona and I have worked at Duke University Medical Center before returning to Israel. I specialize in working with adults and couples coping with depression, anxiety disorders, eating and body-image concerns, relational/marital difficulties, and trauma.
In addition to my private practice I am conducting research on psychotherapy through my appointment in the New School of Psychology at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC Herzeliya).
