  William S. wrote: Vern L appeared to be a spoiled brat. I spent in excess of an hour trying to find a way to get to his house. The roads were blocked, and my GPS couldn't give me an alternative. I called him several times and asked him how I should go from where I was to his house. He couldn't tell me specifically how to do it. He didn't even know the names of the streets he was trying to tell me. I asked him to come get me. At 80 years old, I had no intention of carrying my tools about two blocks through people's yards to get to him. He wasn't interested in coming to get me. Meanwhile, he called my wife and used enormously foul language with her. The experience wasn't good for him, for me, and for my wife. Interestingly, I have been reviewed as the Best Piano Tuner in Dallas for 8 straight years.

I moved several student's lessons (at the last minute as he only had one opening that was for today) which upset a few parents. They had planned on me teaching their child today and now I will not see them until the new year. I will lose that pay for the lessons since I cancelled the lesson sessions. Thank you, Mr. Cherry. Mr. Cherry was late to the appointment (which is totally understandable with the terrible Dallas traffic) which was okay. BUT... he was less than a block away from me when he reached the road construction at one end of my street. He phoned and said that "he could not get to my street" and that "he just was not going to do this today" and hung up the phone. After this totally unprofessional experience with Mr. Cherry, I would not allow him to touch my piano even if he was the last piano tuner on the planet. I see that he has no recent reviews. Maybe it is time for Mr. Bill Cherry to retire.
